             abstract = "A a{\c{c}}{\~a}o do fogo no Cerrado e na Caatinga de Minas 
                         Gerais desencadeia impactos socioambientais, inclusive, em 
                         {\'a}reas naturais protegidas por leis. Avaliou-se neste estudo a 
                         distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o espacial dos focos de calor detectados 
                         pelos produtos de fogo derivados do sensor Moderate Resolution 
                         Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) no Cerrado e na Caatinga de 
                         Minas Gerais entre 2005 e 2015. A distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         espacial e temporal dos focos de calor foi obtida a partir dos 
                         totais mensais dos dados brutos provenientes do sensor. A maior 
                         concentra{\c{c}}{\~a}o de focos est{\'a} na 
                         transi{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos biomas, regi{\~a}o com v{\'a}rias 
                         Unidades de Conserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o (UC). Al{\'e}m disso, sempre 
                         no per{\'{\i}}odo seco (maio at{\'e} outubro), houve maior 
                         incid{\^e}ncia de focos de calor. A an{\'a}lise temporal indicou 
                         varia{\c{c}}{\~a}o interanual gradativa do registro dos focos, 
                         tanto nas UC quanto nos biomas. A espacializa{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos 
                         focos ao longo do tempo {\'e} a contribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o deste 
                         trabalho para o monitoramento do problema em {\^a}mbito regional. 
                         ABSTRACT: Gerais triggers socio-environmental impacts, including 
                         in natural areas. The spatial distribution of the hotspots 
                         detected by the fire products derived from the Moderate Resolution 
                         Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor in the Cerrado and the 
                         Caatinga of Minas Gerais between 2005 and 2015 was evaluated in 
                         this study. The spatio-temporal distribution of the heat sources 
                         was obtained from the monthly totals of raw data coming from the 
                         sensor. The largest concentration of hotspots is in the transition 
                         of biomes, a region with several Conservation Units. In addition, 
                         in the dry period (May to October), there was a higher incidence 
                         of hotspots. The temporal analysis indicated a gradual interannual 
                         variation of the record of the hotspots, both in the UC and in the 
                         biomes. The spatialization of hotspots over time is the 
                         contribution of this work to the monitoring at the regional 
                         level.",
